  1. 2012 was a great year for the MHS. Several of our players traveled near and far to experience hickory golf on traditional, historic courses around the world.
After only one full year as the MHS we have begun to make a nice reputation for itself. It is very exciting to be part of a growing segment in the world of golf.

  2. i applaud the efforts of mike policano and brian schuman and pat myself on the back, just a bit, for the accomplishments of our first season... the events we were able to hold, the golfers who we brought to the game, and the courses we were able to experience have brought about the broadest of smiles and the inner sense of pride.... but even with this success we strive to improve, grow and broaden our efforts in the hickory world..... we have been fortunate enough to make an initial footprint in the realm of "sticks and stones" and garner the recognition of other societies around the world..... i look forward to a successful second season with many years to follow....well done gentlemen.
